Texas House Hearing to Discuss Texas House Member Threats of Punishment for Speaker Joe Straus Opposers, Alleged by Rep. Hughes

On Tuesday, a Texas House committee will talk about the name of the Texas House member that allegedly threatened that there would be punishment for any Texas House member that wasn’t on the Straus support list, as alleged by Rep. Bryan Hughes.

It’s a real shame, and illegal, if an elected official, elected by the people of Texas is going around threatening other Texas House member with punishment for not supporting on person for Texas Speaker over another.
